My Wellness Journey

I started Wellness with Harshita because I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of nurturing my relationship with myself. Throughout my life,

I’ve navigated the challenges of losing my sense of self and viewing myself from the lens of others. However, through inner work and embracing both my light and my shadows,

I’ve embarked on a profound journey of self-discovery. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share this journey with you in this post.

Let’s dive in together!

Losing My Sense of Self as a Teenager

As I entered into my teenage years, going through so many body changes and being exposed to constant criticism. My inner world was a chaos

I was extremely disconnected with myself, had low self-esteem, body image issues and always viewed my self-worth from the eyes of others

On top of these things, I had struggled wit acne, gut issues all my life

Going into my high school, at 16-17 years of age, I started doing lots of diets and exercising in a way to change my physical self

From Struggle to Spiritual Clarity

As I approached college, I found myself grappling with questions about my purpose and direction, feeling increasingly lost.

It was during this time that I stumbled upon a YouTube video featuring ikigai worksheets designed to help individuals discover their purpose.

The prompts, such as identifying what I’m good at and what I love about myself, felt surprisingly distant and challenging to answer.

This realization highlighted just how disconnected I was from myself, igniting my journey of self-discovery and fostering a deeper relationship with who I am.

I became aware for the first time that I am insecure, lost and lack self-love

I began dedicating more time to myself by journaling, reading self-help books, and prioritizing self-care and healthy eating habits for the first time.

This process helped me cultivate a healthy and loving relationship with myself. As I engaged in this inner work, I realized just how out of alignment I was with the person I aspired to be.

This awareness became the catalyst for my transformation. I started making changes that brought me closer to the version of myself I envisioned—confident, grounded, creative, authentic, healthy, radiant, and honest.

Since then, I’ve experienced more growth than ever before. This transformation didn’t come from seeking external validation; instead, it arose from a deep exploration of my inner self.

I focused on my emotional health, rewired the beliefs of my subconscious mind, and established habits rooted in commitment and love for myself.

Letting Go of Negative Self-Talk and Embracing Courage

Negative self-talk has been a huge part of my life for many years, the moment I shifted the negative self-talk to positive one.

Things started to change both inside and outside of me, I felt more confident, loving of myself and others could see it too

Consciously working on my self-talk over the years been extremely important for my growth.

Over the years, as I became more attuned to myself, I found the courage to pursue my dreams and purpose, letting go of the opinions and judgments of those around me.

Cultivating Equilibrium: The Art of Balance

In this fast-paced world, finding balance and making time for myself has become one of the most important aspects of my life.

I’ve realized that as I deepen my personal relationship with myself and engage in inner work, external challenges—such as career pressures, perfectionism, and judgment—become much easier to navigate and overcome.

In real life, achieving balance can look like this:

  • Maintaining a regular workout routine while allowing myself rest days and prioritizing sleep.
  • Enjoying nourish bowls while also savoring my favourite brownies and drinks
  • Eating whole foods and nourishing my body with home-cooked meals, but also making space to explore new restaurants.
  • Allowing myself to rest when I need to and slow down while also work and enjoy in between
  • Preferring almond milk in my lattes but indulging in cheesecake and not feeling guilty

For me, balance also means breaking free from the cycle of self-judgment that I used to fall into frequently.

It’s about letting go of the belief that I am not good enough or life is hard for me

In short:

As I’ve deepened my relationship with myself, released self-judgment, and embraced balance, I’ve attracted incredible, soul-expanding opportunities and relationships.

Often, we seek answers and control externally—through advice, strict diets, or by mimicking others. Yet, the real answers are within us.

When you choose to look inward and connect with yourself, recognizing that you are enough despite your imperfections, you unlock the door to a truly abundant and fulfilling life.

If this message resonates with you or mirrors your own journey, know that you’re not alone. Each experience is a vital part of your personal growth, offering profound lessons if you approach them with an open heart.

Just know that I am here for you

Love xx
